30 April 1809 Martin Phillips married Milly West. (Milly’s parents were supposedly George and Mary West. Martin appears on an 1813 tax roll in Putnam Co GA, along with two Levi Phillips and one Reuben Phillips. The given name Martin runs in the Jonas Phillips branch of Phillips Family DNA Group 2, along with the given names Reuben and Levi. Martin seems to have died in Putnam Co GA around 1821, when John Lee Jr. and John C. Mason were named administrators of his estate. He left two minor children named Mary and William.)
