The comments in parenthesis after the marriage records are speculative.

26 October 1812 Mark Philips married Mary Cann.

9 September 1813 James Phillips married Sarah McEntire/McIntire. (James Phillips may have been the son of Levi Phillips and Barbara Hough. Levi and Barbara were married ca 1784 in Polk’s Mill which is now located in Madison Co GA. In 1820 Levi applied for a pension on his revolutionary war service stating that he enlisted in the Continental Army at Leesburg, VA in 1777. In his will dated 2 Oct 1846, he mentioned the following children: James Phillips, Samuel Phillips, Levi Phillips, Michael Phillips, Elizabeth Polk, Sarah Kell, Fanny Harrison, Barbary Kelly, Melinda Fuller, Nancy Arrington, Melissa Ferguson, Polly Broom and George W Phillips.)
