The comments in parenthesis after the marriage records are speculative.

8 July 1806 Adam Phillips married Tempy Pierce. (Adam Phillips was the putative son of Thomas Phillips of NC, who was the putative son of Reuben Phillips of MD which is Phillips Family DNA Group 2. Adam was named in the will of Thomas Phillips proved in Jackson Co GA in 1834. Thomas Phillips appears to have moved from Oglethorpe Co GA and was living in the Mulberry Fork area of Jackson Co GA by 1803. Benjamin Phelps and Samuel, Thomas, Joseph and Reuben Phillips were all in Jackson Co by 1805.)

24 December 1807 John Phillips married Frances Sykes. (John Phillips was probably the son of Thomas Phillips of NC, who was possibly the son of Reuben Phillips of MD which is Phillips Family DNA Group 2. John was mentioned in the will of Thomas Phillips proved in Jackson Co in 1834.)

4 December 1808 Isham Philips married Polly Smith. (This Isham Phillips might have been the son of Joseph Phillips who died in Laurens Co GA in 1818 when his widow Susannah was granted administration of his estate. Isham appears to have had sons named Burrel, Thomas and Arrington. They all appear together on the 1850 census in Barbour Co AL. Isham supposedly died in Barbour Co AL and is buried in the Faulk Cemetery in Brundidge AL.)
