10 May 1810 Abraham Phillips married Nancy Taylor. (Abraham may have been the son of John Phillips of Montgomery Co GA per the following deed record: John Phillips of Montgomery Co. to his sons Abraham Phillips, Ephraim Phillips and William Phillips. Deed of Gift dated May 13, 1796, conveying to Abraham his (John Phillips') home and plantation, household goods and 20 cows; to son Ephraim, a mare and 24 cows; and to son William, 23 cows. Witnesses: Henry Gaster and Jesse Wiggins. John’s wife may have been named Lucretia. Several researchers think Abraham and Nancy Taylor Phillips were the parents of Abraham born ca 1820 in GA and Wilder born ca 1823 in Florida. The given name Wilder runs in Phillips Family DNA Group 14.)
