On Monday evening, in the home of the bride’s parents, in Gadsden, Ala., Mr. Joseph C. Forbes, of Atlanta, and Miss Pearl Phillips, of Gadsden, Ala., were united in the bonds of matrimony.

The wedding was a quiet home affair and was attended by only a few friends and the immediate family. Mr. Walter Forbes of this city and Mr. Lester Forbes, of Atlanta, were present. Mr. Joseph Forbes being next to the eldest of the four brothers.

Mr. Joseph Forbes is construction foreman and superintendent of the Southern Bell Telephone Co., and is one of the most prominent young business men of Atlanta. The bride is one of the most popular young ladies of her home city. The young couple have hundreds of friends throughout the two states who will hear with pleasure of the marriage.
