John may have come from Bucks Co, PA but is first documented from about 1758 to 1785 in Loudoun Co, VA. Died 1801 Rowan County, NC. Probably Quaker. The line may have orginated in Wales. Probable brother is DNA match Gabriel Phillips who came from Bucks Co to Loudoun Co. About 1785 Gabriel went to SC and John to NC.
First set of files (above) consists of two page typeset transcription of the will.
Second set of files consists of three pages in handwriting, a copy of the original will.
