Phillips, John Newton - 6th Sergeant March 4, 1862.
Appointed 3d Sergeant November 10, 1864. Surrendered
at Appomattox, Va. April 9, 1865. (Born in Butts
County, Ga. in 1840.)

Phillips, George W.- private March 4, 1862. Killed at
Frazier's Farm, Va. June 30, 1862.
