PVT. ALBERT E. PHILLIPS, son of T. A. and Jane Phillips, Dallas. Entered the service August, 1917. Trained at Camp Bowie. Assigned to Company H, 144th Infantry, 36th Division. Overseas July, 1918. Participated in St. Etienne and Champagne sectors. Discharged following the armistice.

PVT. E. J. PHILLIPS, son of Mrs. Mary Phillips, of 5804 Lindell Street. Entered service April 2, 1918, and was assigned to the United States Marine Corps. Trained at Paris Island. Overseas on May 27, 1918. Fought in battles of Bois de Belleau and Parey Tigney. Was gassed and ankle broken. Discharged March 21, 1919.
