I was wondering if there is a list of companies used or availible to do the DNA testing so we can research and pick the company that we want to use ????

Thanks

Hmmmm......

Looks like these two companies are in kahootz with each other

qoute "Since late 2004, we have been establishing projects to help more families have the same opportunities we have enjoyed. We start projects where one does not already exist at Family Tree DNA - the premier DNA testing company (and our partner). We receive a modest compensation from FTDNA for this service - which we hope will allow us to keep doing this indefinitely. (The individuals and project administrators have the same relationship with FTDNA that they would have if we weren't involved - and the testing costs are the same best prices enjoyed by every project)"

Without a doubt FT DNA is the best. And they communicate in a timely manner. There is another company that Nancy Kiser also recommends highly but i don't know its name.

There is a link to a comparison chart for the various testing companies on the new website under Links, which is under News. Here is a direct link to that comparison chart: www.gendna.net/ydnacomp.htm
