gripe about the "new" ySearch was created by prairiedog
ySearch is now too difficult and time consuming to use.

Gripe #1

1. Having to type in the codes so many different times is a big bother.
2. The codes are too long, too fuzzy to read easily.
I have the feeling that the code thing was designed by people who are not researchers, actual users of ySearch.

Solution: When starting a session of ySearch be asked to type in a code that is short and easy to read and only once per session.

Gripe #2

Not all yResults from FT DNA are found on ySearch.

Solution: Anyone who makes public yResults should automatically be registered into ySearch.
