WHEREAS Walton Harris has this day filed a complaint in this office, that James Phillips, of the county aforesaid, Capt. Cook’s district, did fraudulently and contrary to law enter his name in the county aforesaid, for two draws in the last land lottery, by which the said he James Phillips drew two tracts of land, to wit:
Number one hundred and seventy four, eighteenth district of Wilkinson county, and the other number three hundred and forty-two, twentieth district of Baldwin county.
Therefore the said James Phillips or his attorney, or his legal representatives, are hereby required to be and appear at a superior court, to be held in and for the county aforesaid, on the third Monday in March next, to support the legality of their claim.
