(1) NOTICE.
THE TEN ACRE LOT, formerly belonging to Mrs. Eliza Phillips, and known on the map of the Town as Lot No. 2, will be rented to any person that will finish the clearing, and also build the balance of the fence - about eight acres are cleared, and the two ends of the lot are fenced in. Apply to L.C. MANSON.

On February 25, 1836, Hill married Elizabeth (Eliza) Martha Westall, the daughter of Thomas Westall. Eliza Westall was already twice widowed; her first husband was James Elijah Brown Austin, the brother of Stephen F. Austin. William and Eliza Hill had six children. Hill died in Brazoria County on June 30, 1860. In his nuncupative will he asked to be buried beside his wife Eliza, who had died in 1847.

(4) DIED.-In the vicinity of Columbia, on the 17th of July, Mrs. Eliza Hill, consort of Col. Wm. G. Hill.
