SHOOTS BROTHER IN FUSS OVER FURNITURE.
Wounds Not Thought Serious, Warrant Sworn Out and Man Who Did Shooting Jailed.
Jesup, Ga., June 21.-Wilbur Phillips shot and painfully injured his younger brother, Henry Phillips, Saturday with a revolver on the place of R. M. Millikin. The difficulty was over some household furniture.
The two men were quarreling, it was said, when the elder brother drew his revolver and fired at his brother five times. Three of the shots missed and two took effect, one in the abdomen and the other in the thigh. The wounds are not thought serious, though very painful.
A warrant was sworn out and the man who did the shooting was arrested and placed in jail.
