SOUTHERN FARMER.-This new agriculture paper, lately started in Memphis, Tenn., by Dr. M. W. Phillips, of Hinds county, Miss., we heartily recommend to the Southern public. We have not received a number, but we have known Dr. Phillips for many years, and we can vouch for his capability to give interest to this new agriculture venture, and make it extremely useful. Northern agricultural papers are not fitted for the climate and productions of the South. We republish the Doctor’s card with pleasure, and commend him warmly to the public favor.
