At St. Paul's Church, Marfa, Tex.-Missionary district of New Mexico, on Wednesday, May 24th,
the REV. EPHRAIM PHILIPS was ordained priest by the Bishop of New Mexico and Arizona. The candidate was presented by the Rev. Henry Easter, rector of St. Clement's Church, El Paso, Tex. The bishop preached the sermon.

The Rev. Ephraim Philips has been compelled by ill health to resign St. Paul's Church, Mafa, Tex., where he has done an excellent job. He goes to Jamaica.
