First White Child Born in Jasper.
Nathan Fish, and his wife, Naomi Phillips, were the parents of the first white child born in Jasper, This child, a son, Calvin Fish, was born December 22, 1807, and died August 1, 1861.

Theran Happuch Fish was born June the 1, 1812 and Died September the 24, 1815 aged 3 years three months and 24 days
Clarisa Fish was born November the 29, 1803 and died January the 28th 1823 aged 19 years 1 month and 28 days and was married 10 months and 14 days
Nathan Fish departed this life on the fourteenth day of October in the year of our Lord Eighteen Hundred and Forty
Naomi Fish departed this life on the 8th April 1846

Executor's Sale.
AGREEABLY to the last Will and Testiment of Nathan Fish, late of Jasper county, deceased, will be sold at the late residence of the deceased on Wednesday, the sixth of January, 1841, the perishable property, belonging to the estate, of said deceased, consisting of corn, fodder, cotton, bacon, hogs, cattle, sheep, &c. Sale to continue day to day until all is sold.
Terms made known on the day of sale.
CALVIN FISH, Executor.
November 11, 1840.

WHEREAS, Vines Fish applies to me for Letters of Administration on the estate of Naomi Fish, late of said county, deceased.

These are, therefore, to cite and admonish, all and singular, the kindred and creditors of said deceased, to be, and appear at my office within the time prescribed by law, to shew cause, if any, why said letters should not be granted.
