Phillips.—Jenkin Phillips, of Virginia, married Rachel Grubb, by whom he had—Rhoda, William, Benjamin, Rachel, and Jenkin, Jr. Mrs. Phillips died in Virginia, and her husband, with his son Jenkin, Jr., and daughter Rhoda, settled in St. Charles Co., Mo., in 1838, where he died in 1857. Jenkin, Jr., was married twice; first to Margaret Kinnear, who died in 1841; and second to Martha Smith. Rhoda died single in 1841.
