Born in Washington County, Pa.
Wife of Simon Lilley.
Descendant of Daniel Van Voorhis, as follows:
1. John Van Voorhis (b. 1835) m. 1859 Isaphine Teeple (1838-1904).
2. Abraham Van Voorhis (1785-1871) m. 2d 1829 Jane Phillips (1810-93).
3. Daniel Van Voorhis m. 2d 1780 Mary Newton (1755-89).
Daniel Van Voorhis (1738-1819) in 1775, signed the Association Test in Dutchess County, New York, and, 1778, served in the militia under Capt. John W. Van Benschoten, Col. Roswell Hopkins, 6th New York regiment. He was born on Oyster Bay, L. I.; died in Washington County, Pa.
