Born in Savannah, Ga.
Wife of James Randall Winburn.
Descendant of Lieut. James Pettigrew, as follows:
1. Frank S. Van Giesen (1872-1914) m. 1897 Caroline Ancker (b. 1878).
2. George Ancker (1848-1913) m. 1872 Virginia Callanan (1851-83).
3. Mitchell Ancker (1805-65) m. 1833 Adelia Phillips (1813-85).
4. Jacob Phillips (1772-1848) m. 1804 Rachel Pettigrew (1788-1863).
5. James Pettigrew m. 1782 Judith Hart De Shara (1762-1844). James Pettigrew (1756-93) was ensign, 1778, of Patton's Continental regiment, and, in 1779, was promoted lieutenant. He was an original member of the Pennsylvania Society of the Cincinnati. His widow received a pension, 1837. He was born in Scotland; died in Easton, Pa.
