Wife of Dr. Walter S. Cherry.
Descendant of Capt. Jabez Deming, as follows:
1. Edward Clifford Phillips (b. 1861) m. 1885 Sue Norris (b. 1864).
2. Chauncy Hobart Norris (1836-1911) m. 1860 Fannie Giddings (b. 1841).
3. Charles Woodbury Giddings (1810-79) m. 1835 Clarissa Griffing (1810-80).
4. James Giddings (1781-1863) m. 1802 Lucy Deming (1783-1861).
5. Jabez Deming m. Lucy Stoddard (1746-1830).
Jabez Deming (1742-99) commanded a company of Connecticut militia, 1781. He was born in Wethersfield; died in Preston, Conn.
