Hello all, the following information is regarding a John PHILLIPS recorded as being from - No Man's Land, Oklahoma, USA marrying & having children in Newfoundland (Newfoundland & Labrador), Canada.
As for myself, I've been researching my parents ancestry/genealogy for a number of years now. My father's family includes his father/my Grandfather, John Thomas b. 1881 @ Colliers, Nfld (now NL for Newfoundland & Labrador); John Patrick b. 1851(2), not exact with location but from Colliers, Nfld. he married 1878, Ellen McGrath, from Colliers (but not exact as to birth). Grandfather "Poppa", John Thomas married Grandmother, Margaret Mary (Power) b. 1882 from Conception Harbour, Nfld.
The Philips /Phillips names came be found in various births/baptisms; marriages; deaths & other records throughout the province once known as Newfoundland, as a colony of Britain & then the 10th province for Canada.
